How the rules work
The tables below are the complete rule set applied to every Simulated Demo Trading Account, generated from the same configuration that governs the accounts themselves. Breaching any rule below fails the account. There are no warnings, no partial penalties and no soft strikes.
Rules are checked automatically against your trade history. These Trading Rules form part of our Terms & Conditions, where they are repeated in full alongside the rest of the agreement.
Drawdown
Loss thresholds, measured as a % of the funded account size.
| Max daily drawdown | 3% | Largest drawdown allowed within one trading day, on closed and floating positions. |
|---|---|---|
| Max overall drawdown | 6% | Total equity drawdown, trailed from the account's peak equity. |
Risk management
Position sizing and protective-stop rules.
| Max position size | 100 lots | Largest single position, in lots. |
|---|---|---|
| Max exposure per instrument | 100 lots | Combined open lots allowed on one symbol. |
| Max lot-size variance | 3× | A trade may not exceed this multiple of the account's baseline size. |
| Mandatory stop-loss grace | 10 minutes | Minutes a position may sit with no stop-loss before it breaches. |
Holding & news
When positions may be held or opened.
| No overnight holding (cutoff) | 22:00 UTC | Positions still open past this UTC hour breach the account. |
|---|---|---|
| Server rollover window | 22:00 to 23:00 UTC | Positions may not be opened or closed while spreads and swaps are recalculated. |
| News trading window | 30 minutes | Minutes around scheduled high-impact news when trading is banned. |
| No weekend holding | Enforced | Holding positions while markets are shut fails the account. |
Activity & consistency
Stops a dormant account, and stops a single day carrying the whole result.
| Inactivity limit | 5 days | Idle this many days with no trades and the account fails. |
|---|---|---|
| Max % of profit from one day | 50% | One day may not exceed this share of total profit at the time of a payout request. |
Prohibited strategies
Detected automatically from the trade history. Each one breaches the account.
| No high-frequency trading (min hold time) | 3 seconds | A closed trade held for fewer seconds than this breaches. |
|---|---|---|
| No grid trading (max concurrent per symbol) | 5 positions | More than this many positions open at once on one symbol breaches. |
| No martingale (max size-ups after a loss) | 3 | Increasing size after a loss more than this many times in a row breaches. |
| No hedging (opposing positions, one symbol) | Enforced | Holding opposing buy and sell positions on the same symbol breaches. |
Account & payout terms
The commercial terms of the account, as configured in our systems.
| Evaluation / challenge | Every program | All three programs are evaluated before the account is funded, see Challenge programs below. |
|---|---|---|
| Reward | 80% | Your share of the profit generated on the simulated account. Set at purchase and fixed for the life of the account. |
| Profit target to request a payout | 10% | Every payout request needs profit of at least 10% of the account size, measured from activation for the first payout and from the last payout after that. |
| Payout cycle | 14 days, then 18 | The first payout may be requested 14 days after activation. Each payout after that opens 18 days from the previous one. |
| Minimum trading days | 5 | Distinct days on which at least one position was opened, required before a payout. |
| Minimum trades | 5 | Total closed trades required before a payout. |
| KYC | Required before first payout | Identity verification must be completed before the first payout is released. |
| Leverage | 1:100 | Applied to all simulated accounts. |
| Platform | eTrader | A trading platform supplied by an independent third-party software provider. |
Challenge programs
All three programs are evaluated first: every rule on this page applies during the evaluation too, except the drawdown limits, which are wider while you evaluate. Passing opens a funded account governed by exactly the rules and terms above.
| Evaluation steps | 2 or 1 | The 2-Step Challenge has two steps. The 1-Step Challenge and Pay After You Pass have one. |
|---|---|---|
| Profit target per step | 5% | Every program needs 5% of the account size in each step: two steps on the 2-Step Challenge, one on the 1-Step Challenge and Pay After You Pass. |
| Max daily drawdown (evaluation) | 5% | The daily loss limit that applies while you evaluate, the same on all three programs. Funded accounts use the 3% limit above. |
| Max overall drawdown (evaluation) | 12% | The overall drawdown limit that applies while you evaluate, the same on all three programs. Funded accounts use the 6% limit above. |
| Minimum activity per step | 5 days, 5 trades | Trading days and closed trades required in a step before it can be passed. |
| Time limit | None | No deadline on any step. The 5-day inactivity rule still applies. |
| Pay After You Pass fee | From 10% at checkout | 13% of the fee is due at checkout on the 10K size, 10% on the 25K, 20% on 50K and up. The rest is due after you pass, and your funded account opens once it is paid. The amount paid at checkout is refunded with your first reward. |
| Program fees | From €60, or from 10% down | One-time, per account size. 2-Step Challenge: €60 to €840. 1-Step Challenge: €98 to €1,370. Pay After You Pass: the 1-Step Challenge fee, with 13% due at checkout on the 10K size, 10% on the 25K and 20% on 50K and up. |
| First-step restart | Once, at half the fee | If the first step of any program ends in a breach, you can restart that same account once, at half the fee for its size. |
Payout conditions
A payout may be requested once every payout window, provided all of the following are true:
- The account is at least 10% in profit, measured from activation for the first payout and from the last payout after that.
- At least 5 trading days and 5 closed trades on the account.
- No single day accounts for more than 50% of total profit.
- All positions are closed at the time of the request.
- No open or pending rule violations on the account.
- At least 14 days since activation for the first payout, then 18 days from the previous one.
- Identity verification (KYC) completed before the first payout.
- On Pay After You Pass accounts, the rest of the fee has been paid.
- Every request is reviewed against the trade history. Profit generated through prohibited strategies is deducted from the payable amount.
We release approved payouts immediately. There is no processing queue and no batch pay day on our side. The time funds take to arrive depends on your bank or on crypto network conditions, which are outside our control, and we therefore do not publish an arrival time.
Restricted market windows
- No opening or closing of positions during the server rollover window (22:00 to 23:00 UTC), when spreads and swaps are recalculated
- No trading inside the 30-minute window around scheduled high-impact news releases
- Trading during periods of extreme low liquidity may be reviewed if execution is not replicable in live market conditions
